Friday Favorites: Volume 4
Soooooooooo excited to share some of my favorite things from this week with you! I'm talking about a book that is speaking directly to my soul, an exciting new way to waste all your money at Target, and maybe the best water bottle of ALL TIME.
Hunter x Target
First thing is first - did you know that Target is launching their Hunter collab TOMORROW?! Okay - this is a big one. Hunter rainboots are usually quite pricey - but Target's exclusive collection will be priced at $40. Amazing! Not to mention all the additional goodies they've got. So, you want to get your hands on some of these items? Well you better move fast. Only select stores will be carrying the items, so I'd suggest going through Target.com.
Before the launch, sign into (or create) your Target account online. Go through the collection and use the 'my hearts' option (under my account) to easily put the items you'll want to get your hands on in your cart for Saturday morning. Bonus points if you've got your debit card info saved for easy check-out.

Now... something a little less consumerism oriented! I've been really into Audible lately (listening to books or podcasts on my 60+ minute commute each way to work and home again makes me feel like I am actually making the most of my time). I found this book, called Earth is Hiring, and I am SO happy I did. It is funny how things make their way to you just as you need them, right? This book is pure proof of that. The author, Peta Kelly, recommends purchasing the book because there are worksheets and illustrations (so click here to do that!) and seriously makes you think about the way you're living your life.
In the portion I listened to this morning, PK talks about really taking a hard look at what you do each day. Because your days become your weeks... your weeks your months... your months your years... and soon your life. This book grips your shoulders and shakes you as if to say, "Wake up and look around you! Everything you want in life is there for you if you are open enough to accept it!" Some of it is a bit new wave even for me... but I love the honesty and how it makes you take a deep, hard look at your life in ways you hadn't thought of before.
Nordstrom Rack - Gourmet Home Stainless Steel Water Bottle
I was in desperate need for a new refillable water bottle. I'd gotten a Nalgene but I swear I spilled on myself every time I tried to drink from it! This bottle was spotted at Nordstrom Rack and I had to have it! So now it is mine and I'm drinking allllllll the water during my work day! Plus it is my favorite new color - millenial pink - and it has a sleek matte finish. All for $15. SCORE!
