Tops Picks for Spring Skirts

Image
A few months ago I was planning my outfits for Italy and came across the most magical skirt! It gives me incredible Cinderella Princess Vibes. While I didn't wear it in Italy (I didn't even end up packing it) I did finally get a chance to release my inner princess when New Jersey finally had a sunny day this week! I paired it with a black bodysuit (a true lifesaver for skirts) and a black cardigan, plus these adorable new sandals that I found at Target.  *Disclosure: Some links in this post are affiliate links. Friday Favorites: Volume 5

Image
Last weekend/this week kind of got away from me super quickly. I meant to write my last Italy blog post AND get some more Disney posts up, but here we are at Friday and it is simply time for another Friday Favorites. And it is a doozy. Almond Butter and Jelly Sandwiches You might be thinking, "Alli, is something wrong with you?" but alas, I am speaking my truth.  This is an underrated lunch that can really be a polarizing topic to discuss. Everyone has THEIR favorite way of making this classic but I'm going to share my way with you. I've been obsessed with bringing PB&J + AB&J to work lately. First of all, because I'm on a budget/trying to save/would rather spend my money on moonstone necklaces (see below), etc. Secondly, because they are super underrated. Now, I've not quite found the perfect bread for my sandwiches yet so if anyone can help me out I'd love to hear. Brian went shopping this week so I didn't even get a wheat va...

Friday Favorites: Volume 4

Soooooooooo excited to share some of my favorite things from this week with you! I'm talking about a book that is speaking directly to my soul, an exciting new way to waste all your money at Target, and maybe the best water bottle of ALL TIME. Hunter x Target First thing is first - did you know that Target is launching their Hunter collab TOMORROW?! Okay - this is a big one. Hunter rainboots are usually quite pricey - but Target's exclusive collection will be priced at $40. Amazing! Not to mention all the additional goodies they've got. So, you want to get your hands on some of these items? Well you better move fast. Only select stores will be carrying the items, so I'd suggest going through Target.com. Before the launch, sign into (or create) your Target account online. Go through the collection and use the 'my hearts' option (under my account) to easily put the items you'll want to get your hands on in your cart for Saturday morning. Bonus points if ...

Escape to Italia: Pompeii & Roma

Image
Our last morning in Sorrento started once again with delicious breakfast at the hotel and even a rainbow sendoff. I for sure want to visit Sorrento & the Amalfi Coast again in the summer, lay on the beautiful beaches under a bright blue umbrella, and eat gelato in the warm Mediterranean sun. As sad as I was to leave Sorrento, I was very much looking forward to exploring Pompeii. This was the one big thing I was most excited about on this trip to Italy. A land frozen in time, forever captured like a photo by the ash, dust, debris and poison gas that had covered the city from 79 A.D. until it was rediscovered in 1748. What struck me most about Pompeii was that life was just about as normal as it is now. Because of how in-tact the ruins were when it was found, archeologests were able to uncover some truly wonderous artifacts. For example, one of the buildings had a sign on it that roughly translated to, "Luxury Apartment for Rent - During this Time - Contact...
