Staying Happy and Healthy During Business Travel

Image
Visiting new destinations is one of my very favorite things to do. I even love revisiting certain places (ahem... Disney World, Disneyland...) because there is always something new to explore.  Even so, business travel can sometimes get the best of you. I am certainly appreciative of all the awesome trips I get to go on for my job, but these are for work after all, and many times business trips can leave you feeling drained and missing your loved ones.  My two trips in January, or "Travel-uary" as I like to call it, are quickly approaching. This will be my third year doing this so I've learned a few of my own tips and tricks for staying happy and healthy during business travel. While this isn't foolproof and things don't always go as planned, I like to be prepared and try to plan as best as possible.  1. Adding Trust

Sitting here feeling completely frustrated right now.  I was supposed to be boarding my flight at EWR headed to Las Vegas. My 2013 Fiat500C which I lovingly call Fifi hit 100K miles just yesterday (she gets...

Whole30 - The Start

Image
Follow my blog with Bloglovin Heard of Whole30??  Probably. It has been one of the most popular programs as of recent years. I've seen so many people go through the Whole30 and have always been interested, but never took the next step.  So, when my Young Living team mentioned they'd be doing a Whole30 reset for the month of January, I jumped at the opportunity to try it out with the support of a community of amazing people! I'm actually really excited for this. I have also been tracking my food intake with Weight Watchers and the Whole30 adds an additional layer to ensuring I'm making healthy choices.   Overview Basically, Whole30 teaches you to "reset" your system. By cutting out dairy, grains, legumes, sugar, and other foods, you can more easily recognize if these foods are having a negative impact on your body. Once the 30 days are over, you slowly reintroduce these foods to see how they affect you! As a vegetarian for the last...
